The following describes each format in greater detail.
3+1 and 4+1 Standard Formats Comprised of a 3- (or 4-) digit subscriber number and a single digit
report code (e.g. Alarm, Trouble, Restore, Open, Close, etc).
3+1 and 4+1 Expanded Formats Comprised of a 3- (or 4-) digit subscriber number, and a two-digit re-
port code. The first digit is displayed on the first line, followed by a
second line where the first digit is repeated 3 (or 4) times and
followed by the second digit. This is the “expanded” digit.
4+2 Format Comprised of a 4-digit subscriber number and 2-digit report code.
Ademco Contact ID Comprised of a 4-digit subscriber number, 1-digit event qualifier
Reporting Format ("new" or "restore"), 3-digit event code, 2-digit Partition No., and 3-
digit zone number, user number, or system status number.
Ademco High Speed Comprised of 13 digits as follows: A 4-digit account number + eight
channels of zone information (1-8 or duress plus 9-15) + one status
channel, which identifies the type of events being reported in the
eight zone locations.
