Typicalsummarydisplay
The report code consists of 2 hexadecimal digits,
each in turn consisting of 2 numerical digits. For
example, for a report code of “3C”, enter [0][3]
for “3” and [1][2] for “C”. Refer to Section 15.
SYSTEM COMMUNICATION for complete
information on report codes, if necessary.
Enter the report code and then press [*] to
continue.
A summary display will appear, showing the
data for the zone that was just programmed.
Note that AW indicates an auxiliary wired (zone
expansion module) zone.
If it is programmed satisfactorily, press [*I to
display the next prompt.
For all zone types, the next request is to enter
Alpha descriptors for the zones. The entry may
be done now (enter 1) or maybe done at a later
time usin *82 interactive mode (enter O). We

recommen that the entry of Alpha descriptors
be done later using *82 interactive menu mode.

display a prompt for entry of the next wired
expansion zone number. Proceed with the
programming for the next zone, as indicated
When you have programmed all the wired
expansion zones satisfactorily, exit *56
interactive mode at the Enter Zn Nurn. prompt
by pressing [01 [01 *.
Then exit the programming mode by keying $4)!3.
Proceed to the check-out procedure that follows.
